After departing from Plymouth, UK, on 23 Sept., onboard of the 40ft aluminium boat Fanfan, Cpt. Asia Pajkowska continues her solo non-stop circumnavigation. She crossed Equator on 21 Oct. (log 3517nm), 4 weeks after departure from Plymouth. The first 4000nm Fanfan completed on 25 Oct.

Fortunatelly, there were no major problems, only few minor technical problems. Asia is having a good company: whales, daulphins, gannets, flying fish… Asia do not fish, so she has to rely on the food taken from home, mainly freeze-dried food, dried bread, soups.

She has also taken 500 liters of drinking water (in plastic 5 l bottles!), and 300l of diesel fuel.

Now (on 28 Oct. Fanfan is sailing SSE, with a speed of 7 – 8kns! Log 4485. Great weather conditions.

You can follow Asia’s trip on her web site: https://www.asiapajkowska.pl/tracking/

and of Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/asiapajkowska/

Nb., pictures in the blog come from Asia&Alek Archive (from prevoius trips), as the quality of photos sent from the boat are poor, due to the process of compression by satellite comunication.
