Fanfan and Asia have already left behind 10 000 nm! Last Thu., 6 Dec. PM Asia wrote: „I have overslept the 10 000nm, now it’s raining and the log is 10 013”.
10 000nm – it’s more than 1/3 of the route Asia is to complete. Circumnavigation following that route is about 27 000 – 28 000nm. A few hours earlier, Fanfan passed the longitude E 70.
Asia, following the weather forecasts, keeps sailing in such a way as to avoid both, the Lows (because of heavy weather) and the Highs (because of lack of wind). So far, it works. And the weather – in the Roaring 40s! – seems to be collaborating with Asia!
