W miniony weekend, 2 listopada w Cuxhaven Asia Pajkowska otrzymała od niemieckich żeglarzy z organizacji Trans Ocean, najważniejszą doroczną nagrodę żeglarską w Niemczech. Za swój rejs solo nonstop dookoła świata na s/y Fanfan otrzymała nagrodę za Outstanding Achievement. Nagrodę tę w ub. roku dostał Szymon Kuczyński za swój solo nonstop, a w r.2003 główną nagrode Trans Ocean otrzymał Uwe Röttgering, też za samotny rejs dookoła, też na Fanfanie.
Aż niemieckich 10 jachtów wyróżniono za zakończone w tym roku rejsy dookoła świata.

Last weekend in Cuxhaven, Cpt. Asia Pajkowska received the most important annual sailing award in Germany, awarded by Trans Ocean. Asia received the Outstanding Achievement award for her non-stop solo cruise around the world onboard s/y Fanfan. Last year Szymon Kuczyński received this award for his solo nonstop, and 16 years ago the main Trans Ocean prize went to Uwe Röttgering, also for his solo trip around, also onboard s/y Fanfan.
As many as 10 German yachts have been awarded for cruises around the world completed this year.
Trans Ocean supports, promotes and rewards achievements in ocean sailing.
